What a great year for local B-Movie fans with 2 of the 3 gigs close to the band`s hometown. I say that but 3 of the band now live in the South so getting all 4 together takes some arranging around their other work commitments. 

The band added a new keyboard player Keith Phillips and for the summer dates had a guest drummer in the absence of Graham Boffey. Original member Graham  was back though after a short illness, at the Mansfield homecoming gig in November. 

The Sheffield gig was at the Corporation venue and was more spacious than either of the last two gigs in Nottingham. The support band Promenade Cinema were easily the best support that I've ever seen and well worth checking out. 

In November the band returned to their Mansfield roots with a sell out ( 250 approx tickets ) at Canvas, the club/venue above the `Andwhynot` pub. The pub part was previously called 'The Horse and Jockey` back in the `80s and was where I first saw the band in 1983. The night was a great success and a special one for me as I graduated from mere super fan to actually assisting the band. Humping the gear up the outside steps and being a Taxi for band members was in fact a pleasure. There  was a lovely moment before the 4 band members went on as they had a team huddle in the dressing room before going out to entertain their adorning fans.
