This was my 4th time seeing the band and it felt like we were in the 3rd phase now having seen them once in the 1980s, twice in the naughties and after another gap the band were stepping up recordings and live work after the Covid restrictions had put everything on hold. 

Changes too, Rick Holliday had left the band and been replaced for 2022 on keyboards by Marina Vesic ( stage name Black Marina ) who had trained in classical piano at the University of Belgrade. 

The set was an even split of half 1980s familiar tracks and 7 more recent tracks most of us had not heard live before...`Another False Dawn` and `Corridors` from the 2106 album Climate of Fear opened the set. Later `Echoes` a 2012 single off `Age of Illusion` , followed by 3 more singles Melt ( 2022 ), Repetition ( 2018 ) and Love is Dead ( 2022 ) closing with the track `Bete Noir`. 

On a very cold December evening this brought us up to date with B-Movies more recent work whilst balancing it nicely with the old favourites. - Dave Smith
